How Can severe Tonsillitis Be Treated?

I performed oral sex on a guy 3 months ago. A few days later i got tonsillitis. My tonsils were swollen, it hurt to swallow, & i had white spots on them. It cleared up pretty quickly. Ever since my tonsils have giants crater like holes & my tonsils are so small & deflated looking now. So now 3 months later, im pretty sure i have laryngitis. Im very hoarse, im congested, coughing, & it hurts to swallow. I rarely EVER get sick. Do you think i could have an std?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
You definitely have high chances of strong throat infection .. which could be STD.
I would advise for culture &sensituvity test of your throat swab...followed by suitable antibiotic course for sufficient length to get rid of present problem.
You should avoid such relationship in future.
Consult an ENT specialist.
Thanks.
